Wow! I have to say that the focus of wedding planning certainly detracts from the marriage. If I were to do it all over I think I would have scratched the reception entirely and done something that embraces the new changes. I think this is such a needed book and I can’t wait to see how you approach it.

This sounds wonderful way to approach a wedding! I stumbled over here somehow, and enjoyed reading your post about what your book and the process of getting there was all about. I am not in the market for a wedding, as I don’t have anyone in my life, but it does sound like a great way to go about planning a wedding. I have always said the most important thing in a wedding is the marriage, not the dress, not the venue, not the hoopla, and I think that too many get caught up in the hoopla, and forget that the end result will be the marriage. Just saying! LOL
